Terms of Service

1. The Platform

Athena's Parthenon is an esoteric platform offering AI-generated astrological, tarot, and numerological readings, a social community (the Palladium), and related spiritual tools. It is operated by Pilon Laboratories Inc., a corporation registered in Nova Scotia, Canada (Business Number: 787442177).

Readings are for personal insight, self-reflection, spiritual exploration and entertainment purposes only — not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. If you're facing a real medical or mental health concern, please contact a licensed healthcare professional. Never make significant life decisions — medical, financial, or otherwise — based solely on a reading from this platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the platform.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account, including maintaining the security of your password and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at derek@pilonlaboratories.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create accounts using false information, impersonate any person or entity, or create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post in the Palladium — your posts, board threads, and replies remain yours. By posting, you grant Pilon Laboratories Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have the right to post it, that it does not infringe any third-party rights, and that it complies with these Terms.

4a. Scientific Research

One of the founding purposes of Athena's Parthenon is to gather and study aggregate data about human spiritual experience, belief patterns, and consciousness. Pilon Laboratories Inc. may use anonymised, aggregated, and de-identified data from user activity — including reading preferences, natal placements, and community engagement patterns — for academic research and scientific publication.

No personally identifiable information (your name, username, email, or birth details linked to you) will ever appear in any published research. All published data will be in aggregate or de-identified form only, such that no individual user can be identified. You consent to this use of your anonymised data by accepting these Terms. If you wish to opt out of research use, you may request this by contacting us at derek@pilonlaboratories.com.

5. Community Standards

The Palladium is a space for free expression within clear limits. The following are prohibited:

• Hate speech — any content that dehumanises a person or group based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin
• Threats, harassment, or sustained intimidation directed at any member
• Deliberate impersonation of another member or person
• Commercial spam or unsolicited promotion

Pilon Laboratories Inc. reserves the right to remove content or accounts that violate these standards, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription (Initiate or Oracle tier). Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Payments are processed by a third-party processor. Pilon Laboratories Inc. does not store your full payment card details.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content — including AI reading templates, the original Athena's Tarot imagery, interface design, the Chrysalis SDK, and all Pilon Laboratories technology (including the PALLAS SDK, QSK architecture, and HXC Code) — is the property of Pilon Laboratories Inc. and is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property law, including two patents filed with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use Pilon Laboratories' intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the platform as a member.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Pilon Laboratories Inc. does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular reading will be accurate or applicable to your circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pilon Laboratories Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
